OUR BEERS & TASTING NOTES
A classic beer for a classic location. Medium bodied ale, with citrus and melon notes that dominate the aroma and flavour. The medium bitterness is contrasted by the malty backbone with hints of caramel and biscuit that supports and brings balance to this hop forward ale. A Classic Craft Beer.
A nod to a local secret, Yellow Patch Lager is an unfiltered, European style, session lager. Up front aroma of classic herbal and floral European hops supported with a light bready malt aroma derived from single origin Tasmanian barley. Golden coloured with a low haze this lager is light bodied and extremely sessionable with a lifting carbonation and a dry finish. This beer will pair perfectly with any of the pizzas on offer from Auckland House.
Life's complicated, beer shouldn't be. Light in colour and brewed with wheat and oats to make a luscious mouthfeel and create a distinctively soft, smooth body. Loaded with new world hops to give a deliciously tropical fruit juice flavour. Your new favourite beer.
The jewel in the crown our West Coast IPA, a beer style that started a craft beer revolution. This big and bold IPA is absolutely bursting with citrussy grapefruit aromas from the double dry hop additions of imported Simcoe and Centennial hops. The assertive grapefruit hop flavours are balanced by a bready and biscuity malt profile. This beer finishes dry with a lingering bitterness and we can’t wait to share it with you.
Our hidden gem. Easy drinking, approachable light bodied craft beer, hopped to give interesting character of pine, grapefruit and melons supported by a low biscuity, nutty malt flavour. Well balanced and clean.
